Hey,

Are you guys playing an Ignatieff style 'say in French what I want Quebec to hear, say in english what I want the ROC to hear'?

Because it's confusing for us unilingualists.

I really, really don't like Peter MacKay - I never have. He is a weasel.

But, I strongly support dumpees slagging dumpers - you always get to reserve the right to call whoever broke your heart whatever comes to mind.

Some people have a tough time moving on in love, and they have my sympathy, always. Love hurts a lot of people.

Most people who are upset about this would not, I believe, be upset if she'd said it about him. Me, I believe in equal opportunity when it comes to heartache. I wouldn't ever criticize Stronach for being bitter if he'd dumped her - so I'm not ever going to critize him for being bitter.

There was so much garbage on this site about Belinda over the past year - especially when it looked like she was going to run, and the disgusting display when she didn't, and Brigitte Legault was villified....

CONSISTENCY, people!!!

If there's one thing about this site is that they always play childish games; bashing someone a few months ago and now saying that they do excellent work.

This site is starting to become more and more of a laughing stock, and it's disgustingly biased, short-sided, and forgetful of past things said!

Grow up guys and open your eyes!

Anna Yanuk,

To Alexandra,

We were against Belinda's candidacy because she didn't speak French and a bunch of other things. That doesn't mean that I don't respect the woman and that she's entitled to be treated with respect by her colleagues in the House of Commons. I have never attacked Belinda on personal issues or called her any offensive name.

Once again Alexandra, you are completely inconsistent.

First off, we should have said something before, but it was jsut too funny... NO ONE who writes on this blog is called Alexandra, or Andrew, or any of the other names you mention!

Seriously, what are you guys smoking?

Also, you have dissed B. hardcore here, don't try to call it otherwise. When you basically call her a spoiled daddy's girl who paid B.L. 80 g's to buy her way to the leadership, that's PERSONAL.
Why don't you elaborate on the "bunch of other things"?

Is that your new response to everything? Did I attack you? Well, I wouldn't say attack, but I challenged you on what you said and what you say... sort of like how you attack, oops!, I mean "challenge" people on your blog all the time.

Don't get so defensive.

Maybe the only thing personal was my comment for you to grow up and open your eyes. I apologize if you took offence to that, but that was not my intention; it was simply constructive criticism.

And don't you an Alex act all innocent about Belinda. There was a lot of filth on this blog during that period. The good thing was hat you disallowed anon comments, so good job on that one.

Anna...that is attacking me with no basis.

The only criticism I ever made of Belinda Stronach and you can scroll back through the archives, was that she did not speak French.

you guys have nothing better to say. Criticize what Alex said, dont accuse him of a bunch of crap left by anonymous bloggers. We fixed that problem and anonymous people like Alexandra aka anybody but iggy show up.

Well at least Macleans will have another cover story on this ever boring saga.
It would be great if the media, at least once, focused on the constructive aspects of Belinda Stronach, Liberal MP.
