Sheila Fraser’s Bag of Tricks

If there is one thing our Auditor-General has, it is her sense of timing. Before the lynch mob assails Stephane Dion, I think we should all simmer down and wait for the report.

No doubt that this may hurt the party but I think we should all chill out and not try to staple anybody to a wall. The report will come out and we will read it. Unlike Jason Cherniak, I do not believe in any conspiracy theories, except that this does majorly suck for Dion.

The Liberal Party needs an AG’s report as much as it needs a hole in the head. I guess now we just have to wait and see…

We shouldn't be surprised that this report was going to come out. The infighting between the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of the Environment over how the Kyoto file should be handled was well documented. Whenever bureaucratic mechanisms start fighting each other to achieve the same goal, money, time, and effort are all most certainly going to be wasted. That's just a fact.

It's better to come out now than before or during a general election, or during the leadership convention. I do agree it sucks for Dion.

The Gandalf poll is the best poll I've seen so far from a fair polling perspective. The Decima poll ask respondents only about 5 candidates. How fair is that?

The Gandalf poll included all candidates and ask a simple question to the public -- a questions all Liberals need to ask -- who is best to beat Stephen Harper?

The answer was very clearly Ken Dryden. He's polling at 58% in the Prairies, where the Liberals have only a few seats! And he's in second in Quebec!

Rae is the only one else of note in the poll numbers and it shows he would jeopardize Ontario!

Antonio, the super weekend results are important but the only two polls that actually matter are the one on December 3 and the one on the next general election day.

When bad news strikes, bury your head in the sand.

It works every time.

I think its clear to most that Grit Heart is always right about everything. Grit Heart is all-knowing... what he/she says is undeniably the only right way of looking at a particular issue.

Grit Heart, we are so lucky to have the wisest person ever be living in Canada and being part of the Liberal Party. We are truely blessed.

Grit Heart, I salute you! Now go chop some wood.
