Mackay States the Obvious

Since it is not in the motion, we have to take the comments of the government for context.

I don't usually like it all muddled, but Mackay adds some clarity to the definition of Quebecois

def: the people who live in Quebec...

All we need now is Harper to say teh same thing.

strange...what about the 34% of people that live in quebec who don't think they are part of the quebecois nation...too bad i guess; its always unfortunate when minorities spoil the party for the ethnic majority. next thing we'll here is that the quebecois nation needs more lebenstraum.

If by stating the obvious you mean that MacKay clearly doesn't know the definition of Quebecois, then you are certainly right.

Cannon - Harper's Quebec lieutenant - gave a much different definition this weekend. It happens to be the correct one. And, by chance, it's the ethnic one.
