In the Interests of Promise-Keeping, Garth Turner Better Resign

Mr. Anti-Floor Crossing crosses the floor.

What's next? Diane Finley allowing us to wear sunglasses for passport photos?

I am for floor-crossing, even when Liberals join the Tories.

But Garth Turner isn’t.

He has said time and again that if he ever decided to change parties, he would run in a by-election.

So Garth, are you gonna keep that promise? Or are you gonna throw all that maverick stuff out the window?

Also, I know some Liberals don’t like me having a blog because I hear sensitive things…

Now we have a blogger in the caucus room!

I like bloggers :)

Rumour is from 1 Tory blog he might stay independent til the election, and then run for the Liberal nomination at that time.

He has said he will run in a by- election called with three others at the same time. Vancouver Kinsway, Streetsville, Any in Montreal for Fortier and Halton. In fact he challenged Harper to call them. Great answer.

Seems that the Liberal riding association asked Turner to be their candidate.

Diane Finley allowing us to wear sunglasses for passport photos

Bit of a low blow, there. She wears those glasses for a medical condition (Graves' Disease) - see her Wiki entry or her comments from Hansard for more details.
