"Dion needs to talk about other things than the Environment" Liberal Caucus Members

Funny how the MPs who said this refused to be named?

Alex, do you think there is OLO jail like there was PMO jail?

If so, I am so already there.

here is the story the title refers to...

Don't you have anything positive to say about the Liberals Antonio? I can't remember when you did.

kc,

Antonio wants the Liberals in power. He wants the party to win. Things aren't going to continue to improve unless there is constant internal debate at the grassroots level. If the party's doing something wrong, there's no reason anyone shouldn't call the big guns out on their mistakes. If you want somewhere to read blind, shallow, uninformed praise for anything and everything the Liberal Party of Canada does there's a link to Cherniak on Politics on the sidebar.

Antonio needs to tone down the criticism of Dion, so do other Igsters, and unfortunately that's still what they are. It's even in the main stream press. Iggy's team would be much more respected if they tried to help us defeat the Tories instead of trying to defeat our leader. People know what they are doing. People are watching. If they do manage to manufacute Mr. Dion's resignation, I assure you, someone like Mr. Manley or Mr. Tobin will replace him, not Iggy anyways. Then, their dog house won't even be in this Party. So they should really stop with all this garbage now, and start playing on the team. They will be persona non grata if they don't start supporting Dion and the Liberal PArty soon.

sb, then they'll be welcome as Tories. It's just the MP's who we expect to toe the line, not the grass roots.

Cheers,

Unfortunately Lance, I am refering to MP's when I speak about these matters. Antonio himself says he is in the know and people don't like him having a blog because of it.

As I have said before, at least they aren't subtle, not at caucus meetings, not in the press, and not in riding nominations. If they happen to do something unsubtle like push for an early election, or during the next election that might unsubtlely undermine Mr. Dion, I just want to assure Antonio and all the rest of them, it will not turn out as they plan. Because everyone knows what they are doing.

Funny, I don’t think you would be saying the same thing if Ignatieff had become the leader.

Regardless, as one of many previously staunch Ignatieff supporters who have been called up by Dion's team to help with preparations for the next election, I can proudly say that we will be fighting our asses off to defeat the Conservatives in the next election. Not just for Dion, but for the party.

With that being said, I completely respect where Antonio is coming from. Blind loyalty to one’s party and one’s leader is foolish. Ex. I strongly disagreed with the Kyoto motion last week and made my views known to everyone… And the criticism that our leader is too focused on one issue is valid and a cause for concern.

So keep up the good work Fuddle Duddle.
